Artie George: great nephew of Chief Dan George, is a Coast Salish wood carver. He is from the Tsleil - Waututh Nation(Burrar Band) and has over 15 years of carving experience.

 

Unique, deeply carved full sized masks, wall plaques, poles, bowls and rattles express Artie's distinctive style. His works can be found in collections around the world including the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, Alberta and the U.B.C Museum of Anthropology.
